A naturopathic doctor (ND) is able to identify and correct the root of health problems of a patient. This allows the ND find and treat the cause of the disease to reduce symptoms while preventing the disease getting worse or recourse. Physical, psychological, environmental and hereditary elements of a person’s disease are all considered in the search for treatment of the person. Patients receive a compassionate and comprehensive care. The naturopathic physician evaluates the patient for at least 1 hour and a half during the initial visit. Naturopathic Doctor will take the time to hear their concerns, understanding their goals and answer questions about treatment options. The patient also receives empowerment to take personal responsibility for health and education in disease prevention.
